OC Sunsets: Top 5 Middle Eastern Restaurants in Orange County

We see it all the time on the news…from Iran to Syria the Middle East just can’t get a good wrap…unless that wrap is filled schwarma!

Don’t let bad politics daunt you, these Middle Eastern spots in OC are some of the funnest and most flavorful places to be.
1. Villa Garden, Buena Park

Under new ownership, this restaurant and party venue serves huge portions of your favorite dishes. They also offer top live entertainment Fridays-Sundays!

Check out their fattoush

2. El Mahroosa Cafe and Lounge, Anaheim

Though not as luxurious as some of its hookah-lounge neighbors, El Mahroosa has some of the tastiest options in the most authentic Egyptian style. Its late night hours will satisfy your food and hookah cravings on a whim.

Favorite pick: vegetarian platter

3. Raoushi, Garden Grove

Named after a famous rock in Lebanon (for real, a rock), this restaurant’s ambience looks like a Beirut beach. Most of the seating is outdoor surrounded by Corinthian-esque columns and palm trees.

Favorite pick: Greek salad + side of hummus

4. Nara Bistro, Anaheim

This spot has perpetual DJ nights, and is the perfect place for a Monday turn up after party. They’re open until 4 am most nights and can accommodate larger parties.

5. Forn El Hara

This is the best, underestimated breakfast/lunch spot in the Little Arabia district. Forn El Hara is a staple for anyone craving authentic mana’eesh (flatbread). (Side note mana’eesh is a nice hangover remedy for all you post-partiers, so try this after your wild nights at Heat Nightclub :p)
